Pakistan to introduce mandatory vaccination proof for travel abroad — Dawn
From September 14, passengers travelling abroad from Pakistan must have proof of vaccination integrated with the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra). Without such a document, a person will not be allowed to leave the country, Dawn reports.
Requirements for passengers
The new rules were announced on September 7 by Pakistan’s Border Health Services. Its order, addressed to airline executives, sets out pre-departure vaccination requirements for polio, meningitis, yellow fever and influenza.
Carriers were asked to strictly inform travel agents that only vaccination documents linked to Nadra will be accepted for travel from now on. Pakistan International Airlines also issued a warning to international passengers: the airline will not allow passengers to board flights without vaccination proof integrated with Nadra.

Rules for pilgrims
Separate requirements apply to pilgrims travelling for Hajj or Umrah. Under a directive from the health minister, the Federal Government Dispensary is the only authorized vaccination centre for international travellers going on Hajj or Umrah.
Umrah pilgrims must obtain a digital vaccination card linked to Nadra at an authorized centre before departure. Vaccination and online registration are also expected to become available at the airport in the coming days. Passengers who need to be vaccinated at the airport were advised to arrive six hours before their flight. Vaccination payments will be made through Nadra’s e-Sahulat platform.
