In Poland, a man attacked a Ukrainian and some Poles, calling them “Banderites”
A man was detained in Gdańsk, Poland, after attacking a Ukrainian citizen and two Poles, insulting them and calling them “Banderites.”
According to police, the attacker initially started a confrontation with the Ukrainian man because of his Eastern European accent, after which he tried to beat him. The victim managed to escape.
Later, the man attacked two local residents—a father and his son. As a result of the beating, one of them suffered a broken arm.
Law enforcement officers detained the attacker that same day. His blood alcohol level was found to be over 1.5 per mille; tests for possible drug use are also underway. Additionally, it was discovered that he was driving without a driver’s license.
The man has been charged with causing bodily harm, using racist slurs, and driving under the influence. The case has been classified as hooliganism.

On the evening of August 1, in the town of Kozhukhiv (Lubusz Voivodeship), three Ukrainian citizens—37-year-old Volodymyr, 32-year-old Vasyl, and 28-year-old Adelina—were attacked. The incident took place on the private grounds of the hostel where the victims were staying.
