Tusk made the statement following a Russian attack on a Ukrzaliznytsia locomotive at the Yagodin station near the Polish border.
Following a meeting at the Government Security Center, the Polish prime minister announced that authorities would discuss how to organize cross-border traffic in a way that prevents dangerous traffic jams. Customs officials, police, border guards, and the military are to be involved in this process.
According to Tusk, it is particularly important to prevent the accumulation of fuel-carrying trucks near border crossing points, as such clusters are vulnerable to Russian attacks.
