Man dies in Australian fire; charges planned against injured man — ABC News Australia
A 65-year-old man died in a house fire in Redhill, South Australia. Two other people, a 63-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman, sustained serious burns and are in hospital.
Fire on Hope Street
As ABC News reports, emergency services arrived on Hope Street shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday following reports of a house fire. After extinguishing the blaze and ensuring the building was safe, firefighters found the body of a 65-year-old man inside.
The 63-year-old man and the 64-year-old woman were flown by helicopter to a hospital in Adelaide. According to South Australia Police, the man's injuries were considered life-threatening, while the woman's condition is assessed as stable.

Investigators' version
Police said the 63-year-old man is a resident of Wirrabara, located 63 kilometres north of Redhill. Detectives intend to allege that he arrived at the Hope Street address and deliberately set the house on fire, sustaining serious burns himself as a result.
Police said they plan to charge the man with murder, attempted murder and arson when his health condition permits. Law enforcement officers also noted that the incident is not considered random and that the parties involved knew each other. Police asked witnesses and people with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
