Several regions in Russia have switched schools to remote learning due to the threat of drones

At least four regions in Russia have decided to switch educational institutions to remote learning due to the risk of drone attacks.

This is reported by Russian media.

In the Lipetsk region, authorities announced the introduction of remote learning due to possible provocations and the threat of massive drone strikes. For elementary school students and kindergarteners, they organized rotating groups and canceled some mass events at schools.

Similar measures were introduced in Cheboksary, where the local administration urged parents to keep their children home from daycare if possible. In Penza and several districts of the region, schools, colleges, and universities also switched to remote learning for several days due to reports of an increased threat of airstrikes.

Separately, in one region, the restrictions were explained not only by security risks but also by difficult weather conditions, specifically forecasted thunderstorms and strong winds.
