Svyrydenko, not Zelenskyy, will lead the Ukrainian delegation at the conference in Gdańsk

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko will lead the Ukrainian delegation to the International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine, which will take place on June 25–26 in Gdańsk. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not attend the event.

“I will lead the Ukrainian delegation and, more broadly, our efforts at URC-2026 in Gdańsk. The Ukrainian team at the conference will include representatives of Ukrainian business, heads of state-owned companies, representatives of our communities from across the country, and, of course, government officials and members of parliament. There will be many events at various levels designed to strengthen Ukraine, Poland, all our partners, and Europe,” she wrote.

According to Svyrydenko, the team has a clear task: to reach specific agreements that will bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities and resilience and expand economic cooperation with partners.

“We expect to sign a number of important agreements with international partners, particularly regarding the strengthening of our energy sector,” the Prime Minister noted.

She added that “Ukraine is committed to a constructive and mutually beneficial partnership in the interests of common European security, economic development, and long-term prosperity.”

“Ukraine respects its partners and builds cooperation precisely on the principle of mutual respect,” Svyrydenko stated.

Earlier, Zelenskyy sent Navrotsky the Order of the White Eagle via Nova Poshta.

Following this, Leonid Kuchma declined the Polish Order of the White Eagle.

Ukraine’s third president, Viktor Yushchenko, also declined the Polish Order of the White Eagle.

In addition, Borys Tarasyuk will return the Polish order due to Navrotsky’s policies.
