At least 16 people killed in bus crash in eastern Egypt
At least 16 people were killed in a bus crash in eastern Egypt. Another 28 people were injured. The accident occurred on Wednesday morning on the road between the cities of Dahab and Nuweiba in South Sinai Governorate.
Health Ministry data
Egypt’s Ministry of Health reported the number of deaths and injuries, BBC News reports. The ministry also said that up to 20 ambulances had been dispatched to the scene of the accident.

According to the ministry, ambulance crews provided first aid to the victims and evacuated the injured from the crash site.
Cause of the crash unknown
The cause of the accident is not yet known. Dahab and Nuweiba are located in South Sinai, on the Red Sea coast. According to BBC News, the area is a popular tourist destination that attracts visitors from different countries around the world.
