Two teenagers detained in Israel over attacks on Qusra village
In Israel, two Israeli teenagers have been detained on suspicion of involvement in recent violent attacks on the Palestinian village of Qusra in the West Bank. The Jerusalem Post reported this, citing Israeli police.
Items in the vehicle
A 19-year-old resident of the Shomron region was detained first. During an inspection of his vehicle, police found items they described as suspicious: an airsoft rifle, a knife, a folding knife and tear gas.
Law enforcement officers later located the second suspect, an 18-year-old resident of the Jordan Valley region. According to police, he is serving compulsory duty in the Israel Defense Forces.

Investigation into the attacks
Last Thursday, police had already reported the detention of a West Bank resident on suspicion of involvement in violent attacks on Qusra. He became the first person detained in this case.
According to police, the 19-year-old was detained following a joint investigation with Israel's Shin Bet General Security Service. As part of the investigation, testimonies and evidence were collected using various technological means. Police said they seek to hold all participants in the attacks accountable and also intend to ask the court to extend the first suspect's detention.
