Three Etihad Rail stations in UAE to host laser shows — The National

In the UAE, three stations on the Etihad Rail passenger network will host laser shows on Friday evening dedicated to the expansion of rail connections. As The National reports, the displays will take place at Al-Yalayis station in Dubai, Mohammed bin Zayed City station in Abu Dhabi, and Al-Hilal station in Fujairah.

Shows will continue into the night

The laser shows will begin at 7:00 p.m. and continue until 1:00 a.m. They were also held on Thursday. The events were timed to the week when Etihad Rail passenger services began linking Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al-Dhaid and Fujairah.

New stations on the network

Al-Yalayis station in Dubai's Jumeirah Golf Estates area opened to passengers on Wednesday. On the same day, Al-Dhaid station in Sharjah welcomed its first passengers. After that, the number of stops on the Etihad Rail map increased from two to four.

The new route from Dubai to Abu Dhabi is intended to provide connections between the two emirates and direct access to Fujairah. By the end of March, ten stations are expected to operate on the network, and its further expansion is also planned.
