The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with a record number of drones

The United Kingdom has announced that it will provide Ukraine with the largest shipment of drones in the history of the United Kingdom. As part of this initiative, at least 120,000 drones will be delivered in 2026. 

This is stated in a press release from the UK Ministry of Defense.

As noted in the press release, the decision was made against the backdrop of the Russian Federation’s ongoing full-scale war against Ukraine.

“In the fifth year of Putin’s brutal war, the UK is doing even more and is providing Ukraine with a record number of drones this year,” emphasized UK Defense Minister John Healey. 

The UK Ministry of Defense emphasizes that the supply of drones is part of long-term support for Ukraine and is aimed at strengthening its defense capabilities amid constant Russian attacks.

Earlier, Canadian Defense Minister David McGinty announced the transfer of a new, substantial package of defense support to Ukraine. It will include 383 “Senator” armored vehicles manufactured by Roshel, which have already proven themselves on the front lines, as well as 66 modern LAV-6 armored personnel carriers.
