Zakharova Accused Macron of Terror Attacks Because of His Support for Ukraine
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova claimed that French President Emmanuel Macron was allegedly involved in “terrorist activities” due to his calls to increase pressure on Russia.
According to Zakharova, Macron is allegedly “ordering Kyiv” to carry out terrorist attacks, though she provided no evidence to support her accusations.
“France must know that its leadership is personally involved in terrorist activities against women and children.”
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman’s statements came amid calls from France and other Ukrainian partners to intensify sanctions and political pressure on Russia over its aggression against Ukraine.
She made these remarks to Russian propaganda media.
