Princess Diana's brother suggested that she may have had undiagnosed ADHD
Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, recalled various episodes from his sister’s life in his memoir, *Swan Song: Diana, My Sister*, which, in his opinion, may indicate that she had BPD. Charles Spencer himself was diagnosed with this disorder as an adult.
Spencer is convinced that Princess Diana, like him, may have had a severe form of SLD.
“I think Diana suffered from dyslexia. She had a very hard time remembering spelling, word order, and the sequence of letters. As for me, a very severe form of SLD wasn’t diagnosed until I was an adult, and I know it’s exactly the same thing Diana had,” he noted.
Earl Spencer added that, in his opinion, Diana struggled with an undiagnosed disorder and could become angry at any moment.
“If she felt that a friend had let her down—it was a very serious matter, and it was hard for her to get over it. I talk about this very openly in the book. There wasn’t a single person in my family with whom Diana hadn’t had a falling out and turned her back on for a while. But understanding the aspect of PDD really helps you understand her. And also the incredible pressure she was under,” added Charles Spencer.
According to Princess Diana’s brother, she was sensitive to rejection and could at times feel very disappointed in people.
He also reiterated his comments about Princess Diana’s undiagnosed ADHD in an interview with People.
