Jason Statham's girlfriend has been caught up in a scandal over an advertisement for a Russian brand
British supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the girlfriend of Hollywood actor Jason Statham, appeared in an advertisement for a Russian clothing brand. Afterward, she faced online criticism for collaborating with a company from an aggressor country and for her stance on Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was featured wearing clothes from the Russian brand

The page of the Russian brand Ekonika, which sells its clothing in Moscow, published a series of posts featuring Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. However, these photos were not posted on the model’s own page, and the brand did not tag her in the post. The post merely noted that Rosie had become the face of the new collection.

In the comments under the post about the Moscow brand’s collaboration with the British model, Russians expressed delight that celebrities from abroad were working with them. At the same time, others speculated that such content might have been generated using artificial intelligence due to the absence of tags linking to her account.
Reactions from the Internet and Ukrainians
After the ad featuring Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was published, comments appeared under her Instagram photos asking whether she was actually collaborating with Russia. Other commenters reminded the model that Russia is waging a war against Ukraine. And the star’s fans expressed their disappointment with her stance and actions.
- “Shame.”
- “Collaborating with Russia is a new low.”
- “I am extremely disappointed in your stance. Supporting Russia is shameful.”
- “Next time, will you be collaborating with North Korea? Shame on you!”
- “Supporting Russian businesses while Ukraine is under attack is unacceptable.”

- “Such a disappointment…”
- “Why are you collaborating with a Russian brand?”
- “How many children’s lives would you sacrifice for this new partnership?”
- “Really? Russia?”
- “Shame on you.”
Eventually, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley restricted comments on her latest posts and deleted one of them following a wave of hate. The model also declined to comment on her appearance in an advertisement for the Russian brand.
Hollywood actor Jesse Eisenberg joined a volunteer mission in the Lviv region.
As a reminder, on the night of July 30, Russian troops carried out one of the largest combined attacks on Ukraine, using over 70 missiles and more than 280 attack drones. Kyiv and the surrounding region, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, came under fire.
In Poland, during the massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the night of July 30, an air raid alert was issued in part of the Lublin Voivodeship. After the alert ended, a crater about 10 meters in diameter and debris from an unidentified object were discovered in a field near the villages of Tarnava-Kolonia and Tokary.
