TV host Solomiya Vitvitska shared her first impressions of motherhood after returning home from the maternity ward. She talked about a sleepless night with her son and showed off a surprise her husband had prepared for her.
After being discharged from the maternity ward, a festive welcome awaited the 46-year-old star of the “1+1” TV channel and her son, Ustym. The TV host’s husband, Oleksiy Sytaylo, had specially decorated the room in anticipation of their arrival. She shared a sweet video on her Instagram page.
“Oleksa decorated the room. It was such a pleasant surprise,” Vitvitskaya said.
At the same time, the celebrity noted that her first days of motherhood are unfolding amid the challenging realities of life in Ukraine. According to the journalist, their first 24 hours at home as a complete family turned out to be restless, apparently due to nighttime air raid alerts. However, even that did not overshadow the family’s happiness.
“We’re home now. The three of us… The first night was… let’s just say, very eventful and noisy… But we’re incredibly happy,” the TV host said.
In addition, Vitvitska admitted that professional support from medical staff helped her overcome her anxiety about caring for her baby on her own. Round-the-clock medical supervision during the first few days after giving birth significantly reduced her anxiety and gave her confidence before returning home.
