“As a result of enemy shelling, new power outages have been reported this morning in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Where security conditions currently permit, emergency repair work has already begun, the statement reads.

According to energy officials, as of 9:30 a.m., electricity consumption exceeds the previous day’s level by 10%.

Ukrenergo attributes this increase to cloudy weather across nearly all of Ukraine, which reduces the efficiency of solar power plants.

“As of 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, electricity consumption is 10% higher than the previous day, the company clarified.

The power grid operator urges Ukrainians to use electricity rationally throughout the day and avoid turning on high-power appliances simultaneously during peak hours from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

During the nighttime shelling of Kyiv, a Russian missile was heading straight for the entrance of a residential building in Vynogradar, but it did not reach its target and detonated after striking a high-voltage power line pole. The explosion damaged apartments and cars, but there were no fatalities.
