Dovbyk is moving to another club instead of Genoa – media reports
Artem Dovbyk, a forward for AS Roma and the Ukrainian national team, may continue his career at another Italian club—Bologna. The option of a transfer to Genoa, which was previously reported, is no longer being considered.
The clubs are currently negotiating the transfer of Bologna forward Santiago Castro to Roma for 35 million euros. If this deal is successfully concluded, the parties plan to discuss a loan for Dovbyk. The Ukrainian striker himself is seriously considering the possibility of such a move.
Dovbyk joined Roma in the summer of 2024, signing a contract through 2029. Last season, due to injury, he played only 18 matches, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
