Zelenskyy will travel to the G7 summit from Chisinau, not from Poland

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian delegation will depart for the G7 summit in France from Chisinau Airport.

According to flight tracking data, the government plane is scheduled to depart from the Moldovan capital for Geneva on the evening of June 15. This Swiss airport is the closest major transportation hub to Evian, France, where the G7 summit will take place.

This is the second time in recent months that Chisinau Airport has been used for the president’s international visit. Previously, the Polish city of Rzeszów had been the main departure point for Ukrainian delegations for several years, and part of the maintenance for the government aircraft was carried out in Kraków.
