The Russian Federation's attack in Kyiv caused disruptions to public transportation
On the morning of September 29, city commuter train service was temporarily suspended in the capital. Another 10 trolleybus routes and one bus route are operating with delays due to an airborne threat, damage to the overhead wire system, and street closures.
At approximately 6:17 a.m., Kyiv City Express train service in both directions was temporarily suspended due to an elevated air threat to the capital. Updates on the resumption of service will be posted on the Kyiv City Express Telegram channel.
The overhead wire system has been damaged on Stepan Bandera Avenue. As a result, trolleybuses Nos. 29, 30, 31, 34, 37, 44, and 47 are running with delays.
A temporary bus, No. 31k, has been introduced to replace trolleybus No. 31. It runs from Radunska Street to the “Pochaina” metro station.
Another problem area is Zhylianska Street, where traffic has been blocked. Trolleybuses No. 3, 12, and 14, as well as bus No. 69, are experiencing delays.
Due to the road closure on Zhylianska Street, the routes of three lines have been rerouted. Trolleybus No. 12 runs from the “Vasylkivska” metro station to the “Palats Sportu” metro station, and trolleybus No. 14 runs from the Botanical Garden to “Palats Sportu.”
Bus No. 69 detours around the closed section via Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi Street and Volodymyrska Street, then returns to Zhylianska Street and continues along its usual route.
