Eight air raid alerts have already been issued in Kyiv today
In the capital, an air raid alert was issued for the eighth time on August 18 due to the threat of UAVs.
The latest alert lasted 22 minutes—from 5:23 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. In total, Kyiv residents have been forced to take shelter eight times today.

As a reminder, air defense systems were activated in the Kyiv region due to a Russian attack.
Earlier, Ukraine officially classified the long-range “Dovbush T40” unmanned aerial vehicle.
As a reminder, the Russian oil refinery “Orsknefteorgsintez” halted oil processing following an attack by Ukrainian drones on August 11.
