A man was arrested in Kyiv for vandalizing a coffee shop and injuring a barista – video
Kyiv police have charged a 61-year-old local resident with causing a disturbance at an establishment on Sichovykh Striltsiv Street. The man damaged professional equipment, resulting in injuries to a 20-year-old employee and the temporary closure of the coffee shop.

As a result of a heavy coffee machine and a coffee grinder falling, the woman suffered a broken finger. The suspect initially used profanity toward the staff, and after a brief absence, returned to the premises and deliberately knocked over the equipment on the bar counter. Precinct officers quickly located the suspect at his residence.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated on charges of hooliganism; the suspect faces up to five years of restricted freedom. Currently, investigators from the Shevchenkivskyi Police Department are gathering evidence to refer the case to court. In addition to criminal liability, the suspect may face the need to compensate for material damages to the establishment’s property.
