First Emmy 2026 winners announced
The first winners of the 2026 Emmy television awards were announced following the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremonies held on September 5 and 6. As The Guardian World reports, the series DTF St Louis received awards for best supporting actor and actress in a limited series, anthology or television movie.
Awards for DTF St Louis
David Harbour won in the category of best supporting actor in a limited series, anthology or television movie. Linda Cardellini received the award for best supporting actress in the same category.
DTF St Louis also won in the directing and writing categories for a limited series, anthology or television movie. Shailene Woodley received the award for best guest actress in a drama series for her role in Paradise, while Ernest Harden Jr. won among guest actors in drama series for The Pitt.

Other Creative Arts Emmy winners
Betty Gilpin won in the category of best guest actress in a comedy series for Widow’s Bay. Rob Reiner was named best guest actor in a comedy series for The Bear.
Other honored works included the television movie Remarkably Bright Creatures, the live variety special The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny, the pre-recorded special The Muppet Show, and the animated program South Park. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert won the award for writing for a variety series.
The list of major nominations includes, among others, The Pitt, Hacks, Pluribus, The Diplomat, Slow Horses and Widow’s Bay.
