Russian attacks have left consumers in six regions without power
As of the morning of October 2, Russian attacks had caused new power outages in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
Ukrenergo noted that emergency repair work has already begun in areas where the security situation permits.
Electricity consumption is rising. As of 9:30 a.m., it was 3.9% higher than at the same time on October 1. The daily peak consumption the previous evening also increased by 3.2% compared to September 30.
Ukrenergo advises using high-power electrical appliances primarily between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., they recommend not turning on several high-power appliances at the same time.

The Kyiv City Express commuter train continues to run between the left and right banks of Kyiv along its full route and according to schedule, despite the nighttime attack on the capital.
On the evening of October 1, Russian drones attacked the South Bridge in Kyiv for the second time that day. Following the strike, metro and ground transportation across the bridge were temporarily suspended, and experts began inspecting the structure. Preliminary inspection results indicate that no critical damage to the bridge itself was found.
