A young man arrested in St. Petersburg after attempting crypto exchange robbery with airsoft grenades
In St. Petersburg, a 21-year-old resident of Leningrad Oblast was detained after attempting to rob a crypto exchange located in an apart-hotel on Khersonskaya Street. The perpetrator threw airsoft grenades inside the office, ignited a smoke bomb, and demanded funds to be transferred to his crypto wallet.

Police quickly arrived at the scene and apprehended the attacker. Earlier, another incident occurred in the city where a security guard of the same crypto exchange stole 11 million rubles by spraying pepper spray into a manager's face and then used the stolen money to buy a Gelandewagen SUV.
