Nscale reports $103 billion in contracted revenue ahead of potential IPO

British cloud infrastructure provider Nscale told potential investors that it has about $103 billion in total contracted revenue ahead of a possible initial public offering that could take place as early as this month. This was reported by Channel NewsAsia, citing Reuters, which referred to The Information.

Contract duration

According to documents reviewed by The Information, Nscale’s average contract term is 5.7 years. This implies approximately $18 billion in annual contracted revenue.

At the same time, another source familiar with the discussions cautioned that the figures presented by Nscale are “illustrative” and are not intended to be an official forecast of the company’s revenue.

Deal with Anthropic

In late August, Reuters reported that Anthropic would spend $45 billion to lease cloud computing capacity for artificial intelligence at Nscale’s data center campus in West Virginia.

Under the deal, Nvidia-backed Nscale will deploy new Nvidia Vera Rubin chips to meet Anthropic’s computing needs. Nscale did not immediately comment in response to Reuters’ request.
