Nvidia aims to raise more than $500 billion for AI infrastructure
Nvidia announced partnerships with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR to create financial platforms aimed at raising more than $500 billion for artificial intelligence infrastructure. According to Fortune, most of the funds are expected to come from third-party investors rather than Nvidia’s own balance sheet.
The initiative focuses on financing computing infrastructure for AI. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang described AI computing as productive infrastructure. The company is also offering to cover up to 25% of the residual value under certain agreements to make the proposal more attractive.

On Wall Street, this model was generally received positively. Morgan Stanley and Bank of America called Nvidia’s chips an asset that is unusually easy to finance. At the same time, Stratechery author Ben Thompson expressed some reservations: in his view, tapping into the assets of security-oriented investors to finance a large number of graphics processing units is a new and risky move.
