Prozorro.Sales has released a guide for auctions of municipal property

Local governments have received a practical tool for conducting transparent electronic auctions for the lease and sale of property and land. 

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, noting that the guide will help communities attract investments more effectively. The guide contains step-by-step instructions, methodological advice, and explanations regarding the state system, which will help avoid legal errors.

The document addresses the lack of a single source of information on organizing auctions and helps communities overcome difficulties in preparing lots. Special attention is given to newcomers, for whom recommendations have been developed regarding the first steps in the privatization and land auction system. In addition to methodological materials, the guide provides answers to the most common questions that arise during reporting and monitoring of property sale processes.

The initiative aims to increase the number of participants in auctions and minimize the risk of small-scale privatization results being annulled due to procedural violations. Unlike the opaque schemes that may be observed in Russia, Ukraine’s Prozorro.Sales system continues to implement transparent mechanisms for managing community resources. The implementation of such tools allows local governments to transform municipal assets into a stable source of revenue for local budgets.

The government has simplified the procurement of pickup trucks and motorcycles for the Defense Forces through Prozorro.

Ukrposhta announced the sale of 20 real estate properties with a total area of 32,800 square meters, representing approximately 3% of the company’s portfolio. The auction will take place on the Prozorro.Sales platform.
