A 20-year-old female soccer player died in a car accident
Alexandra Wimmer, a 20-year-old player for the Austrian club Blau-Weiss Linz, died in a traffic accident. The club’s press office reported the news.
The accident occurred in a tunnel in Linz. According to local media, Wimmer was driving the car with a 15-year-old passenger when it collided with a truck.
The soccer player died at the scene, and the passenger was hospitalized with injuries. The truck driver was unharmed.
The club expressed its condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
As a reminder, eight people were injured in a traffic accident in the Chernihiv region.
Additionally, in the Rivne region, road workers were charged in connection with a traffic accident that left three people dead.
