Australia moves Suaalii to wing ahead of South Africa test — Channel NewsAsia
Australia rugby coach Les Kiss has moved Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii from outside centre to the left wing ahead of Sunday’s test match against South Africa at Perth Stadium in Australia. The decision allowed Hunter Paisami and Len Ikitau to form the starting centre pairing.
As Channel NewsAsia reports, Ben Donaldson will play at fly-half for the second match in a row. Earlier this month, he played the playmaker’s role in the match against Argentina in Mendoza, which ended in a 28-28 draw.
Changes to the starting lineup
Australia’s first-choice fly-half Carter Gordon broke his leg after coming on as a substitute in Mendoza. Kiss did not include a specialist fly-half on the bench.

Experienced forwards Allan Alaalatoa and Brandon Paenga-Amosa returned to the starting lineup in the front row. They replaced Taniela Tupou and Billy Pollard, who will start among the substitutes this time.
Bench and team form
Australia will have six forwards on the bench. The only backs among the reserves are scrum-half Tate McDermott and winger Harry Potter.
Harry Wilson will captain the Australian team. Australia come into the match unbeaten in five games. South Africa coach Rassie Erasmus made 13 changes to the team announced on Tuesday. Two weeks earlier, South Africa concluded a four-test series against New Zealand with a 3-1 victory.
