UFC fighter Moicano surprised the internet with a conspiracy theory about Spain's World Cup victory
Brazilian UFC fighter Renato Moicano entertained social media users with claims of an alleged global conspiracy surrounding the World Cup final. The athlete suggested that Spain’s victory over Argentina was “planned in advance.”
According to the South American, a photo showing an Argentine soccer player bathing Lamin Yamal in a baby bathtub when he was still an infant is “purely a Masonic story.”
“Who would even let a soccer player bathe a baby?” Moicano asks in genuine surprise.
Also, according to the UFC fighter, the conspiracy theory concerns the defeat of the Spaniard Ilia Topuria during an event celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States on the White House lawn on Donald Trump’s birthday. The claim is that Topuria was “sacrificed so that Spain could win the World Cup.”
The Georgian-Spanish fighter’s opponent was American Justin Gaethje. It seems the Brazilian is hinting that Topuria was supposed to lose to Donald Trump’s compatriot so that “La Furia Roja” could then receive help in winning its second world title.
On social media, Moicano’s statements about Freemasons and a “global conspiracy” were not well-received. Some commenters simply laughed at his wild claims, while others noted that the fighter is allegedly losing his mind due to blows to the head during training and fights.
As a reminder, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) classified the World Cup semifinal match between England and Argentina as a high-risk game.
Argentina may face sanctions following its celebration of the victory over England.
