Nigerian forward Akor Adams scored his first Serie A goal for Venezia in a home match against Fiorentina at the Pier Luigi Penzo Stadium in Italy. However, his team lost 2–4, Premium Times Nigeria reports.
Adams’ goal did not save Venezia
Adams opened the scoring in the first half. The forward created space for himself, received a pass from Gianluca Busio and calmly sent the ball into the net to put the hosts ahead.
Venezia failed to hold on to their lead. Fiorentina came back and secured the victory thanks to a hat-trick by Franco Mastantuono, while Matteo Pellegrino scored another goal.
