Latvia to play Romania at the Men's European Volleyball Championship
Latvia's men's national volleyball team will play against Romania in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on September 9 in the group stage of the European Championship final tournament. The match is scheduled to start at 19:45. It will be the Latvian team's first game of the tournament, and the match against the hosts will take place before 10,000 spectators in a sold-out arena.
The Latvian national team traveled to Romania on Monday to take part in the group-stage matches. Latvian Television will provide a live broadcast of the match, reports LSM English.
Latvia's match schedule
After the game against Romania, Latvia will play Germany on September 11 at 16:45. The Latvia-France match is scheduled for September 13 at 19:45, the team will face Switzerland on September 15 at 16:45, and Turkey on September 16 at 16:45.

Latvia's group-stage matches will take place in Cluj-Napoca. Overall, the group matches of the final tournament will be hosted by Bulgaria, Romania, Finland and Italy.
Tournament format
Twenty-four national teams, divided into four groups, will compete in the final stage of the European Championship. In the first stage, the teams will play in a round-robin format, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the round of 16.
The playoff matches will take place in Italy and Bulgaria. The tournament final is scheduled for September 26 in Milan, Italy.
