Mudryk played for Tottenham for the first time in nearly two years
Mykhailo Mudryk took the field in Tottenham’s match against Nottingham Forest. The Ukrainian winger started the game on the bench and replaced Mathis Tel in the 75th minute.
When Mudryk entered the game, the score was 0–0. Shortly before that, Nottingham Forest had scored, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review.
For Mudryk, this was his first official match in nearly two years. Head coach Roberto De Zerbi had previously stated that he planned to gradually bring the Ukrainian back into the lineup.
Mudryk became only the second Ukrainian in Tottenham’s history. Before him, Serhiy Rebrov played for the London club.
