Driver Isack Hadjar to remain with Red Bull for 2027 Formula 1 season — TimesLIVE

In Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, Red Bull has extended the contract of French driver Isack Hadjar for the 2027 Formula 1 season. He will continue to race for the team alongside four-time world champion Max Verstappen, meaning Red Bull's lineup will remain unchanged next season.

As TimesLIVE reports, 21-year-old Hadjar joined Red Bull this year after his debut season with Racing Bulls. In the 11 races in which he competed, the Frenchman scored points eight times. In particular, he finished third at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Hadjar is eighth in the championship standings with 71 points. He missed the last three races due to a wrist injury but is expected to return to the wheel at this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Contracts of both drivers

Team principal Laurent Mekies said Red Bull is pleased to continue working with Hadjar. According to him, the driver has performed well on and off the track, and extending the contract was an easy decision, as this is only the Frenchman's second season in Formula 1.

Hadjar's contract extension came after Red Bull agreed on a new deal with Verstappen last month. The Dutch driver is set to remain with the Milton Keynes team until the end of 2030.
