Wang Manyu wins Asian Games table tennis gold — ECNS

Chinese table tennis player Wang Manyu won the gold medal in the women’s singles event at the Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan. In the final, held on September 27, she defeated another Chinese representative, Sun Yingsha, 4:2.

Two Chinese athletes met in the decisive match of the women’s singles tournament. In the published photographs, Wang Manyu is shown during the final and after her victory, while Sun Yingsha is pictured during the match. After the match ended, the finalists also posed for a photograph together.
