OpenAI's Director of Revenue, Denise Dresser, is leaving the company

On Thursday, August 13, OpenAI announced that Denise Dresser was stepping down from her role as Chief Revenue Officer. She is leaving the artificial intelligence technology developer less than a year after joining the company, according to CNBC.

OpenAI stated that Dresser is leaving to pursue other opportunities. The company has hired Dali Rajic, who previously served as president and chief operating officer of the cybersecurity firm Wiz, to replace her.

Dresser’s departure marks the second high-profile executive to leave OpenAI in a matter of days. On Tuesday, Brad Lightcap, a longtime OpenAI employee, announced his decision to leave the company.

In a post on the social network X, Lightcap noted that he plans to start something new. The CNBC report does not provide any further details regarding his future plans.
