Samsung may release the Galaxy H1 full-size headphones in 2027
References to the company’s potential full-size wireless earbuds have been discovered in the code of the Samsung Galaxy Wearable app. According to SamMobile, the device may be called the Galaxy H1 and could launch in 2027. The Verge reports this, citing SamMobile.
Icons indicating connection status were found in the app, suggesting a full-size Bluetooth earbud design. However, these images do not necessarily reflect the final design of the future device.
If the information is confirmed, the Galaxy H1 will be Samsung’s first full-size headphones since the Level On, released in 2015. That model was released before Samsung acquired Harman and a number of other audio brands. Currently, Samsung’s main line of audio devices is the Galaxy Buds, but the company does not offer premium full-size headphones similar to the AirPods Max or Sony’s XM series.

The Verge notes that the Galaxy H1 could potentially compete with the AirPods Max. Earlier this year, Apple released an updated model, the AirPods Max 2, which retained the previous design but received a new chip for features such as adaptive audio and live translation.
According to The Verge, if released, the Galaxy H1 may support the Samsung Seamless Codec Ultra High Quality (SSC UHQ), which works only with Galaxy smartphones and tablets released in 2023 and later. Other possible features include support for the Gemini and Bixby AI assistants, similar to what’s implemented in the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
