The State Audit Service has released the results of its audit of Fire Point's contracts
Alla Basalaeva, head of the State Audit Service, reported on the results of an audit of contracts concluded between Fire Point and the Defense Procurement Agency. The manufacturer of long-range weapons had previously been the focus of public attention due to the so-called “Mindichgate” scandal.
“We audited Fire Point’s contracts with the Defense Procurement Agency. What we found was that no deadlines have been missed, goods are being delivered, and payments are being made,” Basalaeva noted.
The head of the State Audit Service emphasized that some of the contracts are to be fulfilled by 2028. “Therefore, only upon their completion will it be possible to speak of final results,” she explained.
Fire Point is a Ukrainian defense technology company headquartered in Kyiv. Founded in 2022 in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it specializes in the design, development, and production of long-range strike unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles. The company’s flagship products are the FP-1 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles and the FP-5 “Flamingo,” which are used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to deliver high-precision strikes against deep-seated targets in Russian-controlled territory
