Warm, rain-free weather will return to Ukraine this weekend

This weekend, September 26–27, Ukraine will see mostly dry weather. Precipitation is expected only in some regions. Nighttime temperatures will range from 4 to 11° above zero, and daytime temperatures from 16 to 22°.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center’s forecast, no significant precipitation is expected on September 26. However, fog is possible in some areas of the southwestern part of the country at night and in the morning.

“On September 26, fog is expected in some areas of the southwestern part of the country at night and in the morning. Nighttime temperatures will range from 4–11° above zero, and daytime temperatures from 16–22° above zero,” the forecast states.

On Saturday, most regions are expected to have variable cloudiness with no significant precipitation.

In the southwestern part of the country, fog is expected in some areas at night and in the morning. The wind will be predominantly southwesterly, 5–10 m/s.

Nighttime temperatures will range from 4–9° above zero, and daytime temperatures from 16–21°.

It will be cooler in the Carpathians: 0–5° above zero at night and +8–13° during the day.

Meanwhile, rain is forecast for eastern Ukraine on September 27. No significant precipitation is expected in the rest of the country.

No significant precipitation is forecast for Kyiv and the Kyiv region on September 26.

In the capital, the wind will be from the southwest at 5–10 m/s. The air temperature at night will be 7–9°C, and during the day, +18–20°C.

In the Kyiv region, temperatures are expected to range from 4–9°C at night, while daytime temperatures will reach +16–21°C.

On Friday, September 25, the weather in Ukraine began to gradually improve. There will be less rain, and daytime temperatures in many regions will rise slightly. At the same time, fairly cool weather will persist at night across Ukraine.

An autumn cold snap has arrived in Ukraine, accompanied by rain. However, a prolonged period of cool weather is not expected—by the end of the week, temperatures are expected to rise to comfortable levels. 

The weather in Ukraine is beginning to change rapidly—a noticeable cold snap is sweeping across the country, accompanied by rain. As early as tonight, some regions are forecast to see significant precipitation and unusually low temperatures following several warm days.

In the third week of September, Ukraine is expected to experience unstable and rainy weather with temperature fluctuations and gusty winds. The main deterioration in weather conditions will be caused by an active southern cyclone from the Black Sea, which will affect most regions from September 23 to 25.
