Serhiy Leshchenko, a special advisor to the head of the Office of the President, showed how Kramatorsk and Sloviansk have changed over the past six months. According to him, there are almost no people on the streets, and the cities’ main roads are covered with anti-drone netting.

“My August trip to Donbas, to the 28th Brigade, was emotionally difficult. Here and now, you can see with your own eyes how Kramatorsk and Sloviansk have changed,” the post reads.

According to the adviser, until recently the cities were bustling, but now the streets are empty, the area is littered with destruction from Russian guided bombs, and the main roads are covered with netting.

“Just half a year ago—bustling cities, packed establishments, traffic jams on the roads. Now there’s destruction from KABs all around, no people on the streets, and all the main roads are blocked off with barbed wire. Both the brigade commander and the battalion commander of the 28th Mechanized Brigade say that Donbas will not fall—but only if the rear continues to provide support,” Leshchenko added.
