Yulia Svyrydenko has been appointed head of KSE Business School
Former Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has become president of KSE Business School. She previously worked at the school as a guest lecturer.
“Yulia Svyrydenko is the president of KSE Business School as of today. I’m happy,” Milovanov wrote.
According to him, Ukraine deserves a world-class business school. He stated that KSE will now focus, in particular, on developing this area.
Milovanov also praised the achievements of the Kyiv School of Economics. He noted that KSE has the highest competitive score among applicants; one in three applicants scores 200 points on the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT), and one in eleven is a participant or prize winner in academic competitions.
“We have already built an incredible hub for talent. And we also have the largest and most influential research institute in the country. Now we are focusing on the business school as well,” said the KSE president.
At the same time, Milovanov preemptively addressed potential criticism of the new appointment. He suggested that opponents would raise concerns about a conflict of interest, high compensation, and Svyrydenko’s lack of academic experience.
“We seek out and attract the best in Ukraine. And we give them the freedom to create and work,” he wrote.
Svyrydenko has been collaborating with KSE for quite some time. She holds the status of honorary professor of practice and visiting lecturer. Her profile is still posted on the university’s website.
This was announced by Tymofiy Mylovanov, president of the Kyiv School of Economics, who stated that he is pleased with her appointment and plans to work with her to develop the business school.

Svyrydenko reported 1.89 million hryvnias in fees from Milovanov’s university.
Former Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko may be appointed chair of Naftogaz of Ukraine. This was announced by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko. According to him, the decision has already been made, and the necessary votes on the company’s supervisory board have been secured.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally confirmed that he had offered Yulia Svyrydenko the position of Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States. However, she declined the offer.
