The number of female taxi drivers in Ukraine has nearly tripled — Bolt
Over the past year, the number of women working as drivers through the Bolt platform in Ukraine has increased by 2.5 to 3 times, according to company representatives.
Serhiy Pavlik, Bolt’s general manager in Ukraine, noted that this trend is linked both to changes in the labor market and to the company’s and its partner fleets’ more active efforts to recruit women into the profession.
According to him, fleet operators are increasingly inviting women to work as drivers and praise their reliability and high level of service.
Similar changes are also being observed in the delivery sector. Vyacheslav Levchenko, General Manager of Bolt Food in Ukraine, reported that the number of female delivery drivers is also gradually increasing in both major cities and regional areas.
He added that many female couriers are outperforming the platform’s average metrics and receiving positive feedback from customers.
At the same time, the number of drivers and couriers aged 55 and older remains relatively stable and has not changed significantly.

Starting at 12:00 a.m. on February 20, the Bolt ride-hailing service resumed 24/7 operations in 24 more cities across Ukraine.
