Ruslan Kravchenko stated that he is abroad on a business trip
Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko said he is abroad on an official trip.
According to him, he plans to hold a series of meetings with international partners during the trip.
“I am currently on a business trip abroad, during which I have scheduled a series of meetings at which I intend to inform international partners about the actual state of affairs within the anti-corruption agencies, signs of their concentration of unchecked influence, and the risks that such practices pose to Ukraine’s state sovereignty, the rule of law, and democratic institutions,” Kravchenko wrote.
The day before, the civil society organization “Anti-Corruption Action Center” stated that Ruslan Kravchenko had left Ukraine overnight.
Now the Prosecutor General himself has confirmed that he is abroad, but noted that this is related to an official business trip.
Earlier, on Monday, September 14, Ruslan Kravchenko announced that a notice of suspicion had been served on NABU Director Semen Kryvonos. As a reminder, the Prosecutor General submitted his resignation on September 7.
According to Kravchenko, Kryvonos is accused of forging official documents to obtain an unlawful benefit on an especially large scale and of a fictitious adoption aimed at artificially creating grounds to evade legal responsibility in court.
The Prosecutor General stated that he is confident in the evidence in the criminal case, within the framework of which the NABU director was served with a notice of suspicion, and is prepared to make it public if necessary.
At the same time, NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) had previously stated that Semen Kryvonos had not been officially served with a notice of suspicion.

The Anti-Corruption Action Center claimed that Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko allegedly left Ukraine after signing the notice of suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos. The Anti-Corruption Center claims that this may have been done in exchange for the opportunity to leave the country.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office have denied Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko’s statements regarding the alleged notice of suspicion served on NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and offers of immunity.
NABU Director Semen Kryvonos does not believe there is a conflict between the Bureau and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), though on August 10 he reported illegal actions against NABU employees. According to him, detectives are being systematically monitored, and law enforcement officials are attempting to obtain information about the progress of investigations and planned investigative actions.
In Kryvonos’s case, the commission included international representatives: Karen Greenaway, Povilas Malakauskas, and Drago Kos, who is also a relative of European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.
The conditions for a new attack on NABU and the SAPO remain—Krivonos.
NABU has published new audio recordings as part of the “Midas” investigation, which reveal a large-scale “kickback” scheme in the energy sector.
As a reminder, Galushchenko was ordered to post bail of 200 million hryvnias.
NABU Director Semen Kryvonos stated that pressure is being exerted on the judges hearing the case of NABU detective Ruslan Magamedrasulov.
