Kryvonos Alleged Pressure on Judges in the Case of NABU Detective Magamedrasulov
NABU Director Semen Kryvonos stated that pressure is being exerted on the judges hearing the case of NABU detective Ruslan Magamedrasulov.
He made this statement during NABU’s report on the first half of 2026. According to Kryvonos, a key witness in the case was acquitted, after which, according to NABU, pressure began to be exerted on the judges who handed down that decision.
In addition, he claims that pressure is also being exerted on judges at various levels who are hearing cases involving NABU employees. According to the bureau’s head, the agency is aware of calls from certain units of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU); however, the judges themselves do not officially report such incidents to the Prosecutor General or the High Council of Justice.

Previously, the 65-year-old father of NABU detective Sentyabr Magamedrasulov was remanded in custody.
Prior to that, the Kyiv Court of Appeals had ordered Ruslan Magamedrasulov, head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) branch in Dnipro, to remain in custody.
