The Ministry of Defense has approved the supply of a new armored pickup truck to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has certified the UAT.GYURZA-01 PICKUP armored pickup truck and authorized its delivery to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The vehicle is designed to transport military personnel and cargo and can also be used to perform a wide range of tasks in combat zones.

The UAT.GYURZA-01 PICKUP was manufactured at a Ukrainian defense enterprise with several years of experience in producing armored vehicles for the Defense Forces.
Since 2022, the company’s large, medium, and small armored vehicles have been successfully carrying out military missions to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty.
The UAT.GYURZA-01 PICKUP armored pickup truck was designed to meet the needs of the military, which requires armored vehicles that are as versatile, reliable, durable, and easy to operate as possible.
The pickup has proven its advertised performance and wide range of capabilities. The vehicle has joined the existing fleet of domestically produced armored vehicles.
Features and Armor Protection of the New Dodge RAM 5500-Based Pickup
The UAT.GYURZA-01 PICKUP armored pickup truck was built on the chassis of one of the most reliable and efficient multifunctional civilian pickup trucks—the Dodge RAM 5500.
This domestically produced armored vehicle has the following features:
Level 2 ballistic and fragmentation protection for the body in accordance with the STANAG 4569 standard;
mine protection of levels Za and Zb in accordance with the STANAG 4569 standard;
high structural strength of the body;
reliable, durable components;
an intuitive (civilian-style) control algorithm;
availability of spare parts and consumables;
high tactical and technical performance;
extensive logistical capabilities.
In addition, the UAT.GYURZA-01 PICKUP is easy to maintain.
Tactical and Technical Characteristics of the UAT.GYURZA-01 PICKUP
The armored pickup weighs just over 8 metric tons and can carry 5 fully equipped soldiers and nearly 2 metric tons of cargo. It has a top speed of 110 km/h.
Its fuel capacity is sufficient for 800 km on dirt roads and up to 1,000 km on paved roads.
Thanks to its design features, the pickup can navigate rough off-road terrain, dense underbrush, swampy areas, and quicksand.
Onboard Systems of the UAT.GYURZA-01 PICKUP for Protection and Surveillance
The UAT.GYURZA-01 PICKUP armored pickup is equipped with innovative protection and surveillance systems necessary for carrying out military missions:
external surveillance system;
a surveillance camera system;
electronic warfare system;
a fire suppression system for the cabin and engine compartment;
ventilation and air conditioning system;
a powerful winch.
If necessary, the vehicle can be additionally equipped with a semi-automatic tire inflation system, a fragmentation shield, a filter-ventilation unit, and more.
