Up to 3.2 billion hryvnias could be allocated to the "Tysiachovesna" program in 2026

In 2026, up to 3.2 billion hryvnias may be allocated to the "Tysiachovesna" cultural support program.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna.

According to her, the maximum funding will amount to 80% of the 4 billion hryvnias allocated in the budget, though the actual amount will depend on the number of high-quality applications.

The largest portion of funds is planned to be allocated to feature films and TV series—approximately 1.9 billion UAH. Funding is also provided for documentaries, animation, music, performing and visual arts, as well as audiovisual content for social media.

Payments to winners will include an advance of 80–90% of the state funding by the end of the year in which the contract is signed.

Recipients will be required to regularly report on the progress of their work and the use of funds; otherwise, the advance payment will have to be returned.

The Ministry of Culture emphasizes that the program is one of the state’s priorities and plans to include funding for it in the 2027 budget.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine approved an updated list of medicines and medical devices eligible for reimbursement from state funds.

Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers authorized the sale of over-the-counter medications at gas stations. Gas station employees will be able to dispense medications under a license, and the premises must have a separate area designated for storing medications. The decision is intended to make medications more accessible, particularly in rural areas and frontline regions.
