The NBU fined the payment company iPay 16.5 million hryvnia
The National Bank of Ukraine fined UPR LLC, which operates under the iPay brand, 16.5 million UAH for violating payment services regulations. In addition, the regulator issued a written warning to the company.
iPay must pay the fine within five business days from the date the company is notified of the NBU Committee’s decision.
Separately, the regulator required UPR LLC to remedy the identified violations and prevent them from recurring. The company has no more than 30 calendar days from the date of receiving the Committee’s decision to comply with this requirement.
The NBU Committee adopted the decision to impose both sanctions on September 2, 2026. They take effect on the date the company is notified of them.
