A mandatory evacuation has been ordered for certain areas of the Nikopol region
Authorities in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are implementing measures for the mandatory evacuation of residents from the most dangerous areas of the Nikopol Raion.
The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, reported that due to constant threats, residents of several settlements must leave their homes within the next month.
Special attention is being paid to protecting minors who are still in the zone of active shelling.
In particular, families with children must urgently leave Novokyivka and Illinka in the Marganets community, as well as Vyshchetarasivka in the Myriv community. According to official data, 34 children from 28 families currently live in these villages.
The large-scale displacement will also affect district centers, where specific risk zones have been identified. Residents of one street in Marganets and nearly 100 streets in Nikopol are required to evacuate.
In total, 1,145 people must leave their homes to minimize risks to life amid hostilities.
The routes and exact departure times for each family will be coordinated on an individual basis with government officials.
“Families will be able to stay in safer settlements in the Nikopol district, as well as in other districts of the region or even other regions,” noted the head of the Regional Military Administration.

In the Kharkiv region, the mandatory evacuation zone has been expanded to include the Kupiansk district.
In Sloviansk, authorities also plan to implement a mandatory evacuation of children from the areas most affected by Russian shelling.
