During a storm in Lviv, lightning struck a 6-year-old child
On Monday, June 29, during a severe storm in Lviv, lightning struck a 6-year-old girl, resulting in her being rushed to the intensive care unit.
This was reported by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, who noted that the victim is currently under close medical supervision. The girl’s condition is considered stable, and doctors have not observed any visible signs of injury on her body.
The thunderstorm and squall that swept through the city have already caused significant disruptions to public transportation and damaged parts of the city’s infrastructure. Due to the serious consequences of the summer storm, Lviv’s rescue teams and municipal services have been placed on high alert to address the damage.
