The heat is here to stay: Weather forecast for Ukraine on June 30
On Tuesday, June 30, hot weather will continue across Ukraine, although brief showers and variable cloud cover are possible in some regions.
The highest temperatures are forecast for the western and southwestern regions. At the same time, forecasters expect localized precipitation in some parts of the country, which will not significantly affect the overall hot weather pattern.
What is the weather forecast?
During the night, brief showers are possible in the eastern regions. During the day, precipitation accompanied by thunderstorms will move to the southern part of the country, as well as to the Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. In some western regions, hail and squalls of 15–20 meters per second are possible.
Winds are expected to be from the north and northeast at speeds of 5–10 meters per second.
Overnight, temperatures will range from +18 to +23 degrees, while in the eastern regions it will be slightly cooler—+15 to +20 degrees.
During the day, temperatures will mostly range from +29 to +34 degrees. It will be hottest in the west and southwest, where extreme heat of +35 to +38 degrees is forecast. In the east of the country, daytime temperatures will range from +24 to +29 degrees.
