Suspect Kropiva, a prosecutor, oversaw renovations at the Prosecutor General’s residence in Kozin – SAPO
Serhiy Kropiva, deputy head of the Department of International Cooperation, who is accused of covering up for fraudulent call centers, oversaw renovation work at the home of Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko in Kozin.
A prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office presented these investigative findings in the High Anti-Corruption Court during the hearing to determine a pretrial measure for Kropiva.
According to the prosecutor, investigators recorded a conversation on March 4, 2026, between Kropiva and the Prosecutor General, from which it follows that the official “is under the protection of the Prosecutor General,” which explains why he possesses “significant powers.” According to the protocol of operational and investigative measures, Kropiva “organizes and coordinates renovations at the residence where the Prosecutor General lives and communicates with the foreman and other staff regarding various technical issues.”
In addition, according to the published data, Kropiva helped arrange a U.S. visa for Kravchenko’s wife and organized the Prosecutor General’s birthday celebration in Madrid. According to the investigation, Kropiva is “a trusted associate of the Prosecutor General,” as evidenced by “his friendly, informal relationship with him.”

Earlier it was reported that NABU and the SAPO are conducting a large-scale special operation at the Office of the Prosecutor General in connection with a case involving possible “protection” of fraudulent call centers.
Prosecutor General Kravchenko disappeared after the NABU and SAP operation began. According to UP’s sources in political circles, Kravchenko drove into the government district, after which no one saw him.
Later, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko resurfaced and stated that he had no connection whatsoever to the cover-up of illegal call centers and had not given any instructions to facilitate their operations.
